Logical-function generator
Apparatus and technique for generating logical functions and circuits have been developed. They provide aid in designing and constructing hardware to generate logic circuits, by defining circuit connections required to generate these functions. With this method, it is possible quickly and automatically to design logic, while eliminating involved and time-consuming mathematical manipulations
Logarithmic-function generator
Solid-state logarithmic-function generator is compact and provides improved accuracy. Generator includes a stable multivibrator feeding into RC circuit. Resulting exponentially decaying voltage is compared with input signal. Generator output is proportional to time required for exponential voltage to decay from preset reference level to level of input signal

Archimedean copulas derived from Morgenstern utility functions
The (additive) generator of an Archimedean copula - as well as the inverse of the generator - is a strictly decreasing and convex function, while Morgenstern utility functions (applying to risk averse decision makers) are nondecreasing and concave. This provides a basis for deriving either a generator of Archimedean copulas, or its inverse, from a Morgenstern utility function. If we derive the generator in this way, dependence properties of an Archimedean copula that are often taken to be desirable, match with generally sought after properties of the corresponding utility function. It is shown how well known copula families are derived from established utility functions. Also, some new copula families are derived, and their properties are discussed. If, on the other hand, we instead derive the inverse of the generator from the utility function, there is a link between the magnitude of measures of risk attitude (like the very common Arrow-Pratt coefficient of absolute risk aversion) and the strength of dependence featured by the corresponding Archimedean copula

GPERF : a perfect hash function generator
gperf is a widely available perfect hash function generator written in C++. It automates a common system software operation: keyword recognition. gperf translates an n element user-specified keyword list keyfile into source code containing a k element lookup table and a pair of functions, phash and in_word_set. phash uniquely maps keywords in keyfile onto the range 0 .. k - 1, where k >/= n. If k = n, then phash is considered a minimal perfect hash function. in_word_set uses phash to determine whether a particular string of characters str occurs in the keyfile, using at most one string comparison. This paper describes the user-interface, options, features, algorithm design and implementation strategies incorporated in gperf. It also presents the results from an empirical comparison between gperf-generated recognizers and other popular techniques for reserved word lookup
Circuit operates as sine function generator
Electronic circuit drives sine function generator using square wave and sawtooth sweep generators. The circuit replaces electromechanical driver and increases accuracy
An EPROM-based function generator
A circuit is described to produce arbitrary time-dependent voltage functions derived from digital information stored in EPROMs. While this circuit is designed to be used as a modulator of the microwave pump source or a solid state low noise maser, it can be readily adapted for other applications
Function Generator
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá oscilátory. Je zde popsána funkce oscilátorů, jaké druhy existují a k čemu se používají. Dále je v práci porovnáno několik druhů oscilátorů a je navrhnuto možné řešení funkčního generátoru pro laboratoře IPR.This bachelor's thesis dissert on different types of oscillators, their functions and usage in everyday life. This thesis also contains comparing several types of oscillators and possible concepts for function generator whitch will be used in course IPR.
Function generator eliminates necessity of series summation
Diode generator using four building-block circuits produces complex waveforms without the necessity of series summation. This highly specialized method of producing complex waveforms requires less power than present methods and uses simpler circuitry
